Let it die man, god.
Yeah, you should be good now. I'll check it out tonight before
bed.
Jon,
That is so true. BBSing was the original social media. :)

Jon,
That is so true. BBSing was the original social media. :)
And I *still* think it's the best out there. What I enjoy is the customizations and things like that and the simple look and feel of it. It's tight and compact and it hasn't really ever changed over time.

MySpace sort of did that by allowing users to customize their MySpace page with HTML and CSS styling, as well as music. I've heard a lot of people actually didn't like the inconsistency of everyone's profile pages though. guess individuality and personalization isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Livejournal had a whole template system customizable with CSS. Made for a nice hybrid between a blog platform and a social network. I just logged onto LJ, still see some friends' posts.
It saddens me to look back at LJ; two of my friends IRL and on LJ have passed away in the years since we hung out there. It was a simpler time, definitely.
The Blog Era in the early 2000s was fun; I was living and working in San Francisco, LiveJournal had an office there, Wordpress and Moveable Type were there as well. The Tmobile Sidekick started a "moblog" trend, with people posting low-res photos from their "smart" phones. Blogger, too, I think - this was before they were bought by Google. Interesting times.

Now I just need to make mine public again.

I'd enjoy checking it out once you make it public or invite only. Let
me know either way and I'll give it a shot or two.

I finally figured out how to get the DOORWAY utility working on
the system, so I added several ham radio and weather related doors
to the BBS.
But, I'm still looking for the SyncWx, Solar-Data, and CAPTCHA doors/utilities for Synchronet. The GitHub address I got just took
me to the code, and I want the programs themselves.

Thanks. It's still pretty m8uch stock. I was going to try WINS again , but SSI's support has gone down the shitter in a big way.

If they're written in JavaScript, then the code is the program.
Yeah, that'd be source. Does it say what language it's in?
