    Yeah who knows. He may never play another game in the NHL based on that injury. They're still fighting over what surgery he can have.

    I'm surprised how well the Rangers are doing in this young season. Especially how badly they were dogged by the media during the off months. We don't have NHL here anymore since the Whalers left... but the Rangers AHL team plays
    here now. Some names you may recall that came up through here include:
    Ryan McDonaugh
    Ryan Callahan
    Chris Kreider
    Jasper Fast
    Igor Shesterkin
    and not to forget...

    The New York media can be pretty brutal to their Sports Teams. I'm also suprised at the Sabres. But it's early and they really haven't played any really good teams yet. But they have some decent young players on the team. I just want to an effort and some Hockey thats worth watching. That hasn't been the case the last couple of years.

    At least they get media coverage. The Wolfpack are rarely mentioned in any
    of our medias here! It's an embarassment... they were almost as bad when
    the Whalers were in town.

    Good hockey is always fun to watch, especially a game 7 in double O.T! Hopefully
    for you the Sabres will have a decent season. I recall around the turn of
    the century they had a good team that made it to the finals I think. That
    was back in the day when they had the 3 chucks - Clint Malarchuk, Dale Howerchuck and Dave Andrechuck.

    I've been at games where the players have stopped the game and watched
    the fights in the stands that broke out! Now that's good ol' fashioned
    hockey there (if you've ever seen the movie slapshot you have an idea
